About Rian

Rian Gonzales (a.k.a. Rianbowart) is a Filipina illustrator and comic cover artist based in France. She is known for her distinctive, vibrant, candy-themed pieces using gouache and watercolors inspired by 90's aesthetic.

She has done illustrations for international companies such as Marvel Comics (Marvel Rising #1 connecting covers, X-Men, Spider-Girls), Magic: the Gathering (Secret Lair), DC Comics (Batgirls, Catwoman, Birds of Prey) Archie Comics (Betty and Veronica , Josie and the Pussycats) and many more!

In her spare time, she likes to snuggle down with a good book and her 3 dogs 🐶 She's also a pretty mean home cook but that's a story for another time! 💖
